community supported agriculture creates a dynamic relationship between the farmer and the consumer of the farmer's products. members purchase a share of the coming season's produce in advance of the season, thereby providing funds for us to purchase seeds, supplies, and equipment for the coming season. in return, we work hard to deliver about twenty weeks of seasonal produce from mid june to the end of october. members have the opportunity to get to know us and to see firsthand where their food is produced. we enjoy knowing who is consuming our produce and keeping our outputs close to the farm. csa creates a community around a farm and contributes to our social well-being. we choose to reduce our ecological footprint by engaging in environmentally sensitive methods of food production and reducing the number of miles that our produce travels to our consumers.
